The local architecture studio Block 722 designed this villa named after the ancient Greek god of light, Villa Apollon and combined Greek and Scandinavian traditional elements to create the 284 sqm villa.

阿波罗别墅坐落在莱夫卡达崎岖的瓦西利基湾山坡上，几乎完全隐藏在视线之外。低洼的单层住宅从后面进入，一进门就可以看到悬崖和清澈的海水。 Villa Apollon sits nestled in Lefkada’s rugged hillside of Vasiliki bay and is almost entirely hidden from view. The low-lying, single-storey home is accessed at the rear, revealing views of the cliffs and crystal clear waters immediately upon entry.

别墅的内部被刻意缩减和限制，旨在将注意力转移到海岸景观上。主屋中的内置沙发和用餐角落最大限度地减少了家具并保持室内流线型。 The inside of the villa is deliberately pared-back and restrained, redirecting focus to the coastal outlook. A built-in sofa and dining nook in the main house minimises furniture and keeps the interior streamlined.

石材和木材等突出材料调色板为住宅注入了温暖，因为它们与该地区的传统建筑和地形息息相关。主卧室的推拉门外便是庭院中的私人泳池。 A prominent material palette of stone and timber imbues the home with warmth, specified for their ties to the region’s traditional architecture and topography. The primary bedroom enjoys its own seperate pool.

为了对抗具有挑战性的陡峭场地，Block 722将Villa Apollon的一部分建造在地下，面向大海敞开怀抱，将自然环境转化为一个宁静的度假屋，室内外都拥抱着阳光和大海。 To combat the challenging steep site, Block 722 built part of the villa into the earth and translated the natural surroundings into a serene holiday home, embracing the sun and the sea both inside and out.
