In fact, the project is a renovation of an existing two-storey house. The house was drafted by Rod Hannah Design Group and built by Anderson Homes; The interior was designed by Cantilever Interiors in Melbourne, and the result is to create an extremely refined, functional family home.

穿过门户，客厅的超大落地窗将户外的广阔景色引入家中。 Expansive views of the surrounding are invited into the home through portals or framed by oversized window openings throughout the home.

Designing to create a palette of shifting light throughout the home, Cantilever Interiors worked with subtle tonal shifts across white, cream, grey and taupe to create a calm, responsive environment that allowed the expansive landscape views to take shape as you move through the home.

连接上下两层的楼梯选用深浅不一的冷灰色调，凸显墙面细节。 The stairs connecting the upper and lower floors are in different shades of cool grey to accentuate the wall details.

通过各种漆面、瓷砖和地板等纹理的使用，Cantilever在室内空间中建立了一种时间感与景观之间的联系。 The use of texture through various paint, tile and floor treatments was intended to give the interior space a sense of time and connection to the landscape.

卧室采用细木工和冷灰色调色板，带有凹槽细节，墙上的艺术品为卧室增添了柔和的色调。 The bedroom features joinery and a cool grey palette with fluted details. The artwork on the wall creates depth whilst adding soft tones to the bedroom.

Cantilever的细木工被延用在浴室中。 Joinery is continued to be used the bathroom.

两层室内空间之外延伸出一个户外平台，扶手椅和户外茶几为这个住宅增添了另一层纹理趣味，自然的色调与海岸景观融为一体。 The armchairs and outdoor table provide another layer of textural interest to this home with natural tones that blend in with the coastal landscape.
