By transforming the three-bedroom house in the old house in the 1960s into a modern open plan layout, this project has a housing model that combines publicity and privacy and has become popular among young people today.

开放平面布局的特点是生活空间界限的模糊，继而使厨房、餐厅和客厅作为统一整体而共存，同时保证卧室的私密性。

The characteristic of the open plan layout is the blurring of the boundaries of living space, which in turn allows the kitchen, dining room and living room to coexist as a unified whole, while ensuring the privacy of the bedroom.

改造前，设计师和业主一致认为要保留原有的水磨石、卧室拼花地板和蓝色砖墙。

House in Bukit Timah

这栋三层楼高的聚落式洋房比邻武吉知马自然保护区，屋外一片葱绿，屋内则以木材装潢呼应大自然。

This three-storey settlement-style bungalow is adjacent to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. The exterior of the house is lush and green, and the interior of the house is decorated with wood to echo the nature.

中岛台、餐桌和吊灯都运用弧线作为装饰主题，柔和与圆润的视觉效果为极简风格增添生活的柔软与平静。

The island table, dining table and chandeliers all use arcs as decorative themes, and the soft and round visual effects add softness and calmness to life in the minimalist style.

与其在屋内放置植物盆栽，设计师大量采用实木和木质的镶板装饰室内各个角落，以木代表树木，用取意的方式把屋外的大自然引入室内。
