Arthur Casas graduated from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo in 1983 with a major in architecture and urban planning. His career began in interior design and product design. One of the biggest characteristics is that he constantly renews through intense dialogue with his team. Defining his work, the guiding principle of this dialogue is the quality that makes his project widely recognized.

From the inside to the outside, from the object to the landscape. The creation of Arthur casas studio is always closely related to the horizontal scale, and more importantly: the dialogue in the design process.

Arthur casas深受这座城市的国际化精神的影响，并具备了世界性以及现代主义的视野。空间的设计饱含了浓郁的现代主义风情。

Arthur casas is deeply influenced by the citys international spirit, and has a cosmopolitan and modernist vision. The design of the space is full of strong modernism style.

Apartment in Paris

这间位于巴黎的公寓是由Arthur Casas studio为一对夫妇和两个孩子创造的居住场所。设计师选用同色系的家具，让公寓呈现了整齐划一的审美与和谐。

This apartment in Paris is a living space created by Arthur Casas studio for a couple and two children. The designer chooses furniture of the same color to give the apartment a uniform aesthetic and harmony.

室内空间从整体上来看，显得方正端庄，同一环境下的客厅、餐厅以及厨房，利用同一元素相连到了一起。

On the whole, the interior space appears square and dignified. The living room, dining room and kitchen in the same environment are connected by the same element.

设计师在设计时尊重建筑物自身的条件，打造相连式空间的同时，保留了建筑本身的木梁架构，并根据其原始结构做改善，利用新旧结合的氛围来营造质朴无华的温暖空间。

When designing, the designer respects the conditions of the building itself, creates a connected space, while retaining the wooden beam structure of the building itself, and improving it according to its original structure, using the atmosphere of combining the old and the new to create a simple and warm space.

Casa JD（JD住宅）位于圣保罗（Sãoppaulo）海岸，主人是一对夫妇及其四个成年子女。

Casa JD (JD Residence) is located on the coast of Sãoppaulo. The owner is a couple and their four adult children.

工作室在客厅中设计了一个很大的缝隙，从而让住宅从内到外，拥有了极大的视觉通透性。

The studio designed a large gap in the living room, so that the house has great visual permeability from the inside to the outside.

沙滩的景色和地块侧面的绿化带让室内外的分界不再生硬，内部与外部之间的联系变得微妙。

The view of the beach and the green belt on the side of the plot make the boundary between indoor and outdoor not hardened, and the connection between the inside and the outside becomes subtle.

Ocean View Residences

海景公寓是许多人心神向往的住所。在这间拥有迷人海景的住所内，面临着一个巨大的挑战——创造一个舒适的高度、并使其与客厅环境相融合。

Sea view apartment is a residence that many people yearn for. In this residence with stunning sea views, there is a huge challenge-creating a comfortable height and integrating it with the living room environment.

工作室给出的解决方案是：在柱子的位置，用细木工把裸露的光束包围起来。另外，公寓里的社交区域以连续式分布，并与隐私和服务区域相分离。从而，空间的流通具有了功能性和可及性。

The solution given by the studio was to surround the exposed beam with joinery at the position of the pillar. In addition, the social areas in the apartment are continuously distributed and separated from the privacy and service areas. Thus, the circulation of space has functionality and accessibility.

由于靠近大海且常年气候炎热，工作室为公寓选择了耐高温和耐盐的材料。整个公寓都使用了单层地板，从而增强了建筑整体流动感。

Due to the proximity to the sea and the year-round hot weather, the studio chose high-temperature and salt-resistant materials for the apartment. The entire apartment uses a single-layer floor, which enhances the overall flow of the building.

这个项目，是为Benjamin Fleider住所的改造。在住宅一楼，工作室用肉桂木地板重新进行了空间的整合，从而使得住宅对外部自然呈现出开放的姿态。在这里，随处都能捕捉到生活的气息。

This project is for the renovation of Benjamin Fleiders residence. On the first floor of the residence, the studio re-integrated the space with cinnamon wood flooring, thus making the residence open to the outside naturally. Here, the breath of life can be captured everywhere.

该项目解决了房屋原有结构兼容性的问题。在房屋结构中插入了几个加固点，突出了主人套房中的大倒立梁，从而实现了客厅的整体融合。

The project solved the problem of compatibility of the original structure of the house. Several reinforcement points were inserted into the house structure to highlight the large inverted beams in the master suite, thus realizing the overall integration of the living room.
