当地坊间一直流传着有关于“五象岭”的神话传说，传说很久以前辛勤劳动耕耘的南宁人民一直期盼着来年能有个好收成，但四周野兽常来侵袭。

There has been a legend about the Five Elephant Ridge circulating in the local community. Legend has it that long ago, the people of Nanning who worked hard and cultivated have been looking forward to a good harvest in the coming year, but wild animals often attacked all around.

当我在南宁差旅途中偶然听到这则传说时，就产生了兴趣，或许跟奶奶小时候经常跟我讲述类似的民间传说有关，也可能是因我的小女儿平日里十分热衷于邀我一同阅读神话故事的缘故。

I became interested in this story when I came across it on a business trip to Nanning, either because my grandmother used to tell me similar folklore when she was a child, or because my little daughter was always keen to invite me to read fairy tales with her.

丰富的想象源起于此，于是我们便尝试着在空间中塑了些形态各异、憨态可掬的象，借此营造出生动奇趣的场景体验感。

Rich imagination originated here, so we tried to create some shapes in the space, simple and charming elephants, to create a vivid and interesting scene experience.

仿佛被环形的山脉线包围着，高高低低的树屋错落排布，木质旋转楼梯引领着孩子们通往“天际”探秘，自然之气倾泻而下，被婆娑的树叶切割成各式各异的形状，令得孩子们好奇的驻足观望。

As if surrounded by a ring of mountain lines, high and low tree houses are arranged at random, and wooden rotating stairs lead children to explore the sky. Natural gas pours down and is cut into various shapes by whirling leaves, which makes children curious to stop and watch.

小飞象雕塑也同树屋一前一后的呼应着，以一种极为柔软的姿态，插上童趣和诗意的翅膀，在室内流动生长着。

Dumbo sculpture also echoes the tree house one after the other, in a very soft posture, with the wings of childlike fun and poetry, flowing and growing in the room.
