Elegant and luxurious

It sits in a historic building, although it is actually new by Italian standards: a neoclassical urban mansion, dating back to the early 20th century, used to be a private home for wealthy families. But there is little nostalgia for the past. Apart from the facade and structural details, there is little to remind you of the buildings past, from high arched windows to winding iron railings.

Set off by smooth marble, the place is modern and elegant - minimalism, with luxury, from hall lights, handcrafted shapes of ginkgo trees, to unusual wooden furniture and brass tables, each designed by Italian architect Alessandro Bianchi. He was the driving force behind the project, and in fact, his vision was carefully crafted by Italian craftsmen.

Minimalist Aesthetics

The 43 rooms upstairs are empty and quiet, from the karara marble bathroom to hand-made brass lamps, all in detail. In the typical Milan style, the floor is covered with herringbone oak, but the decoration is almost entirely white; advanced sound insulation blocks out the noise of the city outside. The result is such a quiet and pristine space that you almost feel guilty about opening your suitcase and disturbing your balance. Some of the better rooms have small private terraces, while spacious suites have larger garden terraces overlooking the cathedral and the city skyline. You will sleep well here and there may be a lot to do on the Milan agenda. Stop at the hotel buffet for a refreshing coffee.

Its like sister estate anvil, a 50 room hotel. This space used to be a blacksmiths shop, and later became a hotel in the 1990s. After a thorough renovation, it was infused with a new minimalist aesthetics, full of warmth, enthusiasm and simplicity.

The comfort of cache house, the 800 square foot lobby with custom lighting, trnk studio and Lawson finning sofas and chairs from fern NYC create a sense of community. The cache house is located outside the town square on cache street, named after its location and the cache location directly below the anvil hotel. An oiled white oak reception desk welcomes guests to the lobby, where they can also enjoy free Snake River coffee. Bunk beds are made of painted wood, beaded panels and plywood with walnut handrails and unpainted polished brass hardware. Sturdy, ergonomic ladders provide access to the top bunk.

All bunk beds come with custom Woolrich blankets. The three shared washrooms are unique in style, with black granite countertops and cedar and moss wall lamps. The whole building has polished concrete floors with radiant heating. All berths are equipped with built-in lockable storage space. Guests use separate lockers and larger luggage storage. Separate lockers are suitable for carry on luggage and other smaller items. Public desks and seats provide a place for guests to exchange stories, and the back library contains guides and adventure books.

These colors, materials and artwork all reflect a dark sunset and a cool river morning. Everything you touch reminds you of function, honesty and usefulness.
