Located on the ridge of the western coast of Sonoma, the house captures the wild beauty of the area. Local landmark design, adhering to the spirit of nature. Let nature dominate everything and build experience with architecture. Founders Joan and Walter flowers were the first to grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the Sonoma coast. Thirty years later, the land still retains its original rural charm, and the 70s facilities on the 13.5 Acre Estate have degenerated.

Flower management, organic farming practices and sustainability, existing collections of simple industrial buildings developed to transform into a resort style destination. This approach allows most of the original structure to be recycled while showing the design results. Start with a new sense of positioning. New corridors were created to guide visitors from the parking lot to the guest house. The flower house provides an amazing immersive story for the guests.

受周围红木林深色调的启发，游客中心外部被染成暗黑，退到景观中，让自然成为焦点。在这座单层建筑的一端又增加一座建筑，改造成多层次的设施，使人们能够无缝地欣赏到山顶环境所提供的非凡景观和花园。元素材料——光秃的柏木墙板、亚麻布、羊毛和陶瓷——给室内一种真实、踏实感，将斯堪的纳维亚极简主义与该地区的地方特色融为一体。

Inspired by the deep tone of the surrounding mahogany forest, the exterior of the tourist center is dyed dark, and retreats into the landscape, making nature the focus. At one end of the single story building, another building is added to transform it into multi-level facilities, so that people can enjoy the extraordinary landscape and garden provided by the mountain top environment seamlessly. The elemental materials - bare cypress wallboards, linen, wool and ceramics - give the interior a real, down-to-earth feel, blending Scandinavian minimalism with the local characteristics of the region.

一款美酒，花之屋体验在设计中慢慢展现。登上开放式楼梯，游客被引人注目的花园景观和令人惊叹的葡萄园全景吸引。天窗、大窗户和外部遮荫被最大化，使空间充满一整天的自然光。山顶结构，带遮蔽座椅和木制烤箱，使室内和室外无缝连接。周围的花园以原生植物群落为特色，提供一个宁静、私密的空间，让客人品尝葡萄酒，同时欣赏索诺马海岸令人惊叹的生态：红杉林、橡树林地和远处点缀着葡萄园的山脊。

A fine wine, the experience of the house of flowers is gradually shown in the design. Climbing the open staircase, visitors are attracted by the spectacular garden landscape and amazing panoramic view of the vineyard. Skylights, large windows and external shading are maximized to fill the space with natural light throughout the day. Mountaintop structure with covered seats and wooden oven for seamless indoor and outdoor connection. The surrounding gardens feature native plant communities, providing a quiet, private space for guests to taste wine while enjoying the amazing ecology of Sonoma Coast: redwoods, oak woodlands and ridges dotted with vineyards in the distance.
