Patricia Urquiola designs a chair for Andreu World formed by a plastic shell that makes the sit embracing. Born from the idea to use the plastic as a sheet of paper, Nuez features folding at the end of the seatback that mimic the typical gestures when working with paper, which seem in fact to close the shape of the chair. The texture that characterizes the chair recalls those of a quilted textile. This gives the chair an atypical sense of softness if applied to a hard material like plastic. The four typologies of legs proposed are connected at the particular folds and follow the tone of the shell. Nuez is presented in eight different colors.
