The Moroso Stand designed by Patricia Urquiola for the Salone del Mobile 2019 is a perfect mix of a interdisciplinary, intercultural and exhibiting space. Three overlapped yet distinct spheres of thought which can be referenced for all design concepts. Matter and art, symbolic elements of Patricia Urquiola and Patrizia Moroso, materialize within the simplicity of the material and color palette choices. The perimeter of the stand is closed on all sides, opening in the interior space offering various spatial divisions that lead the observer into a path defined by the contrast of visual elements.

Walls have been airbrushed in two tones, a fading effect that stands for the creative path that ends with the product, a conceptual approach that leads back to the element of art. The relationship between product and art is also highlighted by the use of Olafur Eliasson’s bookshelf and table, Danish artist who claims that” art nowadays is no longer a sublime and marginal object, but rather a creation of cultural relations in which society’s skin and heart pulses”.
