Nicolas Schuybroek CS House

This project is not part of our usual scope of work. We usually intervene on architecture, interiors and furniture all in one go, whereas in this case, most of the renovation works of this classical house outside of Brussels were already finished when we started the project. The client was at a life-turning point and commissioned us to create an immaculate and minimalist interior. We opted for a black and white graphical palette, which runs throughout the house, highlighted by specific modernist furniture pieces. The kitchen features solid white counters atop white cabinetry. The black-white contrast continues in the dining room, where the architectural lines of the Jean Prouvé table and the black lacquered Pierre Jeanneret chairs take center stage. A touch of grey textiles was incorporated into the living room and bedrooms, bringing a sense of softness to these spaces.
