Melbourne Lexus Design Pavilion The flurry and excitement of the Melbourne Cup and its illustrious ‘Birdcage’ is an experience unsurpassed. In designing the Lexus Design Pavilion, it was vital for us to capture this thrill and exhilaration, and embody it within our interiors concept. Gradually revealing the drama of the two-storey fitout through journey, each surface was a story of colour, movement, light, texture and luxury. A sensory experience, our design played with perceived light to transform flat surfaces into dynamic planes, while encouraging greater reach of our aesthetic through reflections in mirrors and the chrome Lexus NX vehicle.
