With Shrine we had an idea of creating an object to help people highlight things that mean something special to them. A piece working like a halo or frame around important memories in life. We also created a series of seven still life photos gives our personal views of how Shrine can be used.

Shrine by Susanna Wåhlin — “My little collection of geranium shoots. Seemingly fragile and sprawling, but in reality so strong (being a desert plant) they survive a scatterbrained and forgetful keeper like me (once for five weeks without water during a hot summer left all alone in my window). Stunning little fighters, they look just as stubborn as they are”.

Shrine by Charlotte Ackemar — “My Ikebana inspired vase has been given this special place in Shrine. Its a piece that I have made with my own two hands with some helpful words from my ceramicist mother. I love how it stands so graceful in solitude”.

Shrine by Cristiano Pigazzini — “We are different, in essence, from other men. If you want to win something, run 100 meters. If you want to experience something, run a marathon.- Emil Za´topek.” This medal of the 2015 Stockholm marathon is the symbol of my experience , a great experience.
