Pattern making, exploring negative space, and creating hidden landscapes, are all within the result of the Domino Low Table. Solid American Walnut slats are laid diagonally in plan, then tilted to create a vertical slant in all the pieces, before laminating the timber. The entire composition is planed to create 5 orthogonal sides ot the rectangular form. The underside is the only surface that remains as the undulating strips. As the table floats 50mm above the floor, a tension is created between the underside of the table and the floor.
