The Yoga School Inc. Singapore, is a wellness and educational centre focused on physical, mental and spiritual health restoration and rejuvenation.

The design challenges the idea of a clinical and stark environment often seen in a typical yoga center. The waiting area is designed in a palette of American Walnut timber and subtle pastel hues to evoke in patrons a sense of comfort and intimacy, emulating a residential space. The yoga studios are separated from the waiting area by large operable sliding doors – a feature that allows the extension of the studio space during larger sessions as well as an amalgamation of the normally distinct programmes of ‘training’ and ‘relaxation’, redefining the idea of yoga practice.
