The Chamfered Low Table is an expression of a passion for solid stone slabs. Measuring 1.2 x 1.2m, a large piece of 38mm thick solid slab of quarzite rests on a 6mm thick piece of brass, with no adhesive. The symmetry of the table is further emphasized by the triangular brass structural corner supports. Precision in stone cutting and metal rolling allows for both materials to be perfectly flat, enabling both surfaces to join seamlessly without a third element like adhesive.
