Fontenay Hotel Hamburg Our exterior and interior design concept for this luxury hotel for one of the most affluent cities in Europe, Hamburg, is one that embodies luxury in its most honest and mature form: Serene Sophistication, whereby a harmonious experience is achieved whilst encompassing an artistic appreciation for luxury design. The location of this 5-starPlus hotel is destined at the border of Outer Alster Lake. It will have 130 keys   20 long stay options, 3 restaurants of which one will have a star chef, 1.200 m2 wellness area, a music hall and more high-end amenities. The design aesthetics and palettes are based on open symmetrical lines and contemporary soft luxurious tones that not only deliver a serene experience but also encompass a Nordic identity. With unique bespoke elements designed especially for The Fontenay, and with the inclusion of art, in particular sculpture in the design, this hotel concept is based on reaching a cultural point of high luxury achieved in all facets, very relevant to its location. For this pitch we cooperated with German based GMP Architects.
