“The Architect’s Villa” is a holiday home overlookingthe sea in the south and Mount Taygetos in the north in the Greek region of Mani. The area is characterized by a barren, brittle landscape and the traditional Mani architecture with stone houses and towers. The villa – together with another house – is part of a building complex, which refers to the topography of the landscape. Typical elements of the historic houses are put into a modern context.

The villa stands alone in the middle of an olive grove and assures ultimate privacy for its guests. The Architect’s Villa is designed to live both indoor and outdoor surrounded by panoramic views.

The Greek villa consists of three stone volumes, connected to each other with steel-glass elements. Its floor-to-ceiling windows and metal details are its unique characteristics. The first volume consists of two Master Bedrooms on two different levels. The second volume has a spacious living room with a fireplace on the first floor and two Junior Bedrooms on the ground floor with an extension to the relax area. The third volume comprises of the kitchen in connection to the dining area where all volumes merge into one.

希腊别墅由三块石料组成，相互连接着钢制玻璃元素。它的地板到天花板的窗户和金属细节是其独特的特点。第一卷由两个不同层次的主卧室组成。第二卷有一个宽敞的起居室，一楼有壁炉，底层有两间小卧室，延伸到放松区。第三卷包括与就餐区相关的厨房，其中所有卷合并为一个。

The Architect’s Villa is modernly decorated and newly equipped. Each piece of furniture and contemporary painting is carefully selected to express the modern and free spirit of the villa. Local materials such as stone, wood and marble give the classic touch of an authentic Greek villa.
