Passed through the filter of some contemporary design, a bunk bed becomes a sophisticated and attractive product which can be extremely useful and friendly with the aesthetics of a child’s bedroom. Such a bed for children, that I liked very much, was made by Del Mar Company from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, within a larger project called the Condo. The designer used natural wood, managing to bring to headlines a traditional beauty, especially specific in the southern traditional houses.
