Built under the burning sun of Nevada, Tresarca residence, is the downright definition for “amazing”. The project realized by Assemblage Studio is an architectural and design response to the challenges that the Mojave Desert and Las Vegas can raise. The natural beauty of the textures and different materials, stratifications of rocks and green oases where life pulsates, all under the almighty sun are the realities of the environment that were used as inspiration source for a design that creates the feeling of belonging to this environment and to provide the regional character to the architecture. River stone, granite, marble and all that identifies with the mountains Red Rock nearby, it can be found represented in Tresarca. Rock formations are found in different combinations, with different materials and textures. The green of the grass, cliff and cool water form a harmonious whole that attracts and delight you similar to a protective oasis. The simplicity of the forms and materials, classic geometry of the straight lines give a dignified and sincere beauty. The red rock formations surrounding the area protectively, have inspired the achievement of a net screen that protects the upper level of the house. The net limits the effect of the burning sun over the interior spaces and provides an interesting game of shadows.

Nevada is a state where two worlds coexist: the glamorous world of Las Vegas ready for the millions of tourists and the rural world, which is based on tradition, the use of natural materials. A sustainable architecture in Las Vegas requires respect for tradition, for this place, it means connecting the forms and materials of this specific environment. Tresarca residence has developed around these values of natural beauty, expression of simple lines, shapes and natural materials.
