Text description provided by the architects. This 2 story housing reinterprets the strongly restrictive regulations of the historic village it integrates. It’s volume and materiality interact with the vernacular constructions in search of a diverted analogy.

Designed as an irregular monolith with eight facets, it is articulated by a central passage echoing the geometry and typology of the neighboring rural constructions. Its double sloped roof identifies the two family dwelling areas and enforces the village’s skyline. The distorted disposition and dimension of the openings, disrupt the scale of this villa, giving it a more urban character.
