With existing planning permit permissions that required that their home be commenced within a very tight timeframe, the client needed a responsive design and construction solution. They had seen the Kilmore Intermode home and were sure that Intermode’s architectural form would fit ideally on the site they had chosen.

Of particular interest to the client were the extensive glazed walls. These would frame the magnificent views afforded by the site while the sweeping decks, would provide a seamless link to outside lawns and a magnificent garden.

The home responds aesthetically and functionally to its unique rural setting. A polished concrete floor with in-slab hydronic heating keeps the house warm during the extremely cold winter months and double glazed windows help insulate the house, keeping energy costs down.
