Text description provided by the architects. The house is located in the big dunes next to the Northern Sea on the Danish west coast. There is no vegetation, except from grasses. The climate is tough with an almost constant strong wind from west. The house has a courtyard facing south, to embrace light and sun, and provide shelter.

The irregular shape of the house is due to optimizing space with direct view to the sea, as well as respecting the views to the sea, from the house behind.
