Text description provided by the architects. A two-court sports hall, which blends in with the highly expressive building ensemble, was erected on the roof of an existing two-story building in the ‘Zehlendorfer Welle’ shopping and health center in Berlin.

平静立方体采用了现有建筑清晰、现代的正式语言，尽管如此，由于材料的选择，它本身被视为一个实体。在里面，当它是黑暗时，光线穿透体育馆的半透明的外观，把它变成一个不寻常的发光。

The calm cube takes up the clear, modern formal language of the existing buildings, while nonetheless, owing to the choice of materials, being perceived as an entity in its own right. Inside, when it is dark, light penetrates the sports hall’s translucent façade, transforming it into an unusual luminary.
