Text description provided by the architects. The Jardim Edite Social Housing Complex was commissioned to replace a favela located on one of the most significant areas of recent growth in both the business and financial sector of the city of São Paulo.

为了确保住宅综合体与其丰富的环境之间的融合，该项目垂直地阐述了住房方案，并完全由公共设施占据底层，可供居住社区以及城市其他地区使用，从而将该建筑群插入该地区的经济和日常生活。

To ensure the integration among the housing complex and its rich surroundings, the project articulated the housing program vertically and occupied the ground floor entirely by public facilities, available for the residential community as well as for the rest of the city, inserting the complex in the economy and everyday life of the region.

 Torre 1 - Cores Fachadas

Torre 1-核心Fachadas

公共设施的屋顶也是居民的共同区域，将每一街区内的住房建筑连接起来，使周围地区的大都市规模中的居民之间有一个隐秘的社会互动场所。

The rooftops of the public facilities also functions as a common area for the inhabitants, connecting housing buildings within each block, allowing for a secluded place for social interaction between the residents in the midst of the metropolitan scale of the surrounding area.

该项目总面积25.500平方米，252个住房单元，50平方米，一所餐厅学校(850平方米)，一个基本保健单位(1，300平方米)和一个日托中心(1，400平方米)。

The project has a total area of 25.500 m², with 252 housing units of 50 m², a Restaurant School (850 m²), a Basic Health-Care Unit (1300 m²) and a Daycare Center (1400 m²).
