The house arises as a response to the site where it is located, with the south area within the plot and the north facing the street. Conceptually, it is composed of a volume for the day area on the ground floor, clad externally with white plaster on the rear areas, and wood on the front, and another volume for the sleeping area on the upper level, clad in phyllite stone, supported by the lower volume and cantilevered on the south and west sides.

The two volumes are connected through a void which allows a spatial relationship between the lower and upper levels, and where the staircase is located. We intend to eliminate all visual barriers, and to signify this intersection, this void, so the ladder and walkway that occupy this place are materialized with light elements, steel, glass and wood, to allow a direct recognition of the space.

The proposal seeks to divide the uses of the house into day area on the ground floor, always connected to the garden through large windows, and sleeping area on the upper floor, where the three bedrooms are located, two of them sharing a bathroom, and the bedroom suite with a double orientation that cantilevers over the pool.

The ground floor volume is also pierced by a void that connects to the basement, which brings light to all interior areas of the house. The ground floor has three bands, the south side, which overlooks the garden and pool and contains the living-dining-kitchen, transparent and interconnected. The center band, which is where the stairs and yard are located, and the north side, which contains the laundry, a toilet and a guest suite.

The house ends at the pool, which has the same width as the west side of the lower volume, and that apart from performing the usual functions, is conceived as an architectural element that greets visitors and leads them to the entrance house.
