 Master Plan

The 'CANOPEE' plot is located in the GINKO Eco-Quarter, north of Bordeaux. The plot is conceived by the architecture agency BROCHET-LAJUS-PUEYO. Two buildings on the plot are situated along a canal. As they wanted an architectural diversity for the buildings along the canal, the architects BROCHET-LAJUS-PUEYO kindly invited us to conceive the F building.

The building's hexagonal footprint provides more hours of sun exposure to each facade and offers expansive views between the neighboring buildings.  There are three or four apartments on each floor, each with a typical orthogonal layout.

间隙空间用作角质露台和阳台。这座建筑是用白垩白砖建成的，所有的露台都用当地的松木覆盖，区分了外部体积和减去的空隙的表面。

The interstitial spaces are utilized as angular terraces and balconies. The building is finished in a chalky white brick, with all of the terraces clad in local pinewood, distinguishing between the exterior volume and the surfaces of the subtracted voids.
