In winter time when the leafs fall down from the trees, you can see what they hide and Tenna’s hill shows itself as a composition of graduates terraces towards Caldonazzo’s lake. Between them you can glimpse small sheds used to store agricultural tools. These sheds are usually made by local stone and their roof can be built in different ways. This project involves the renovation of one of these.

When we were appointed for this project, the stone shed was in very bad conditions: the roof was collapsing and the external walls were about to fall down with it. We decided to restore it keeping as much as possible the original features because we wanted the shed to be well integrated into the surrounding landscape.
Within the original walls perimeter we inserted an independent and different element to be read separately from the stone walls. This element is composed by two parts: a wooden volume and an iron one which serves as entrance and as landscaping telescope. Both elements were dry-built and then lowered inside the stabilized stone walls.
