这座建筑位于泰森山脚下安静的别墅区。这座山冬天挤满了滑雪者，夏天则挤满了登山者。在这个项目中，我们的目标是让居住者在房间里对大自然感到熟悉。这两层楼高的建筑设计得像个棚子，放置的位置不需要尽可能地砍伐现有的树木。这座建筑的外表面被玻璃狭缝的滑动屏风包裹着，内部区域被包围在中间空间。树木在玻璃表面的反射使建筑成为景观的一部分。

The building is located in the quiet villa area at the foot of a mount Daisen. This mountain is crowded with skiers in the winter and climber in the summer. In the project of this time, we are aiming to house make the inhabitant feel familiar to nature in the room. The two storied building designed like a shed placed position where does not need to cut down the existing trees as much as possible. Outer surface of this building is wrapped up by sliding screens containing slits of glass and inside area is surrounded intermediate space. The reflection of trees in glass surface makes the building part of landscape.

滑动屏幕不会阻挡光线，因为Shoji封装了内部空间，可以很容易地打开和关闭，以响应外部环境。它可以很容易地调节内外的关系，就像换衣服一样。在由狭缝玻璃和黑雪松板制成的滑动筛的内部，有双层玻璃的滑动门和它们之间的中间空间(空气层)，因此内部区域由三层保护。

The sliding screen doesn’t block the light as Shoji that wraps up the interior space, can be easily open and close in response to the external environment. It can easily adjust of the relationship between inside and outside just like changing clothing. On the inside of the sliding screen made of the slit glass and black cedar board, there are sliding doors of double-glazed glass and the space that is an intermediate space (air layer) between them, so inside area is protected by three layers.

该建筑的空间结构是以日本传统空间恩加瓦为借鉴而设计的。这一空旷的空间放置在内部和外部的边界上，使建筑中的生命与自然相连。模糊的空间，成为外部和内部之间的缓冲地带，保持室内空间的平静和舒适。

The spatial construction of this building is designed to use Engawa (Japanese traditional space) as reference. This empty space placed on the boundary between interior and exterior make life in the building connect to nature. Ambiguous space that becomes buffer zone between the exterior and the interior keeps inside space calm and comfortable.

在夏天，如果滑动屏幕打开，内外边界变得模糊，居民可以感觉到熟悉的自然在房间里。即使打开滑动屏风，如果适度寒冷，在冬季，室内空间用木窗框和双层玻璃包裹起来，保持舒适。严寒时，最外层的滑动屏关闭，以保证温暖。即使在这种情况下，自然光线也会穿过滑动屏幕的缝隙，让居民能够感受到大自然。

In the summer, if sliding screens are opened, boundary of inside and outside becomes ambiguous, and inhabitant can feel familiar to nature in the room. Even opening sliding screens if moderately cold, in the winter, the interior space wrapped up by inside screen of wooden sash and double glazed glass, is kept comfortable. When cold is severe, the sliding screen of the outermost is closed to ensure the warmth. Even in such a case, natural light passes through a slit of sliding screen, so that inhabitant can feel the nature.
