这座大楼是2004年设计的，以满足扩建计划的要求，到2013年，这一计划的总书名将达到262，500本，使现有图书馆翻一番。

This building was designed in 2004 to meet the specifications of an expansion plan that will aggregate 262,500 titles by 2013,  doubling the current library.

该项目考虑到各种工业化系统和材料的实施，使建筑能够迅速和准确地完成。

The project took into consideration the execution of various industrialized systems and materials, allowing the construction to be finished quickly and accurately.

所采用的解决方案将建筑系统与金属书柜的存储系统结合起来，彻底确定了空间作为一个注定要作为出入区域的结构是如何适应的。总之，图书馆是由书柜设计的。

The adopted solution integrated the construction system with the storage system of metallic bookcases, confirming thoroughly how the space fits in as a structure destined to serve as an access area. To sum up, the library was designed structured by its bookcases.

采用了综合的自然通风和照明系统，为学生和教授提供舒适和机动性，并保护图书馆。

Integrated systems of natural ventilation and lighting were used to provide comfort and mobility for students and professors, as well as the preservation of the library.
