Text description provided by the architects. The elongated, single-storey building flanking the street is complementing and extending the architecture of the existing listed buildings designed by Sep Ruf. The new ateliers, studio and seminar rooms are contained in three separate pavilions united by a single large roofscape.

新建筑群的中心是所谓的“交流馆”，包括自助餐厅、大型工作室、图片库和多用途活动空间。紧邻咖啡厅的一个开放的庭院是通往学院遗址的主要入口。西边的展馆里有新的工作室，它们围绕着一个内部的庭院，通过有盖的走道彼此相连。

The centre of the new complex is the so-called ‘communication pavilion’ with a cafeteria, large studio, picture storeroom and multi-purpose space for events. An open courtyard adjoining the café serves as the main entrance to the academy site.  The western pavilion houses new ateliers grouped around an internal courtyard and connected to one another by covered walkways.

第三个展馆的研讨室也同样围绕着一个内部庭院。与开放的走道不同，这里的通道是封闭在建筑物内的，与室外庭院之间用房间高的玻璃隔开。各展馆之间的通道和通道遵循有盖人行道的模式，并将“岛屿”纳入户外工作。

 The seminar rooms in the third pavilion are likewise grouped around an internal courtyard. In contrast to the open walkways, here the passageways are enclosed within the building and separated from the outdoor courtyard by room-high glazing. The pathways and access routes between the individual pavilions follow the pattern of covered walkways and incorporate ‘islands’ for working outdoors.
