The 450,000 square-foot neuroscience building will feature 60 research laboratories, lecture spaces, and study areas, sitting atop retail space at street level. It is designed to foster a collaborative learning environment, welcoming various disciplines related to neuroscience. Additionally, the high performance double-skin glass facade aims to enable transparency and a connection to the community, while the lower-level commercial activities make the building accessible to the entire campus.

The Winick Realty Group has been selected to fill the three retail spaces, reserved for a take-out food establishment, restaurant, and retail store, which will be ready for occupancy by winter 2015. While the building envelope is largely complete, construction continues on fitting the interior. Currently, masonry is being installed on the first floor, while ceiling and floor installation continues midway up. Framing and sheetrock of the interior partitions is being completed on five floors. Additional progress is being made through elevator installation, and roofing on the upper floors.
