The Center itself—run by the Health and Education Foundation for Children with Leukemia—is intended to serve as a recreation site where visitors will learn about “a sustainable lifestyle focused on the cycles of nature, organic agriculture, permaculture, balanced growth and management of livestock, and adequate waste and compost management.”

The Center will include various facilities, such as lodging, conference rooms, open-air event spaces, workshops, a small market, greenhouses, organic farms, permaculture facilities, barns, compost management and waste disposal facilities, small-scale energy production systems, and several water-related recreational spaces.
