Text description provided by the architects. Convenience within the wilderness

位于台湾桃源县福兴镇东岩山森林游憩区，海拔900米。它周围是混合树种的森林和新鲜空气。

The site is at 900m above sea level off the forest trail in Donyanshan Forest Recreation area in Fu-Hsing Town, Taoyuan County, Taiwan. It is surrounded by mix-species of forest with fresh air.

我们努力满足公众的实际需要，并在这一地区创建一个具有里程碑意义的建筑。

We tried to fit the practical need of the public as well as create a landmark architecture in the area.

为了保持自然坡度，厕所采用钢柱支撑，对地形和天然林的影响最小。

To keep the natural slope, the toilet was lifted up by steel braced columns to have minimal effect on the topography and natural forest.

即使回归自然，人类的需求也需要一个方便的解决方案。因此，决定在周围树木的树干附近筑巢，用一个结霜的玻璃立面来照亮人类游客的影子。(鼓掌)

Even when returning to nature, human needs require a convenient solution. Therefore the decision was made to nest the facility near the trunks of surrounding trees, using a frosted glass facade to illuminate the shadows of human visitors.

此外，还作出了尊重自然环境和对自然环境影响最小的决定。

Furthermore, a decision was made to pay respect and have minimal influence on the natural environment. 

我们选择钢结构和玻璃作为两种主要的材料，因为它们可以被回收。

We chose steel structure and glass as two main materials as they could be recycled.

Further, the materials could be fabricated on site to reduce the length of the construction and overall environmental impact.
