Text description provided by the architects. The project claims to preserve the spirit of the place, to conserve the trees and to create a building in perpetual interaction with the elements of the park : the villa, the trees and the garden. The concrete made extension of the day nursery is developed on two floors, along the street «Lamartine» to the western limit of the property.
Ground Floor Plan
该建筑物的底层确定了参考水平,并允许通过大型多用途房间直接进入公园。在北侧,日间托儿所的主要入口所在,与别墅相比,它的体积略有下降,并固定在地面上。
The ground floor of the building defines the reference level and allows a direct access to the park through the large multipurpose room. On the north side, where the main entrance to the day nursery is located, the volume is slightly in withdrawl compared to the villa and anchored itself to the ground.

The project generates two distinct outdoor areas; a public place on the north side related to Geisendorf park and to the private garden of the day nursery on the south side.

Towards the park, the extension façade aims to free the volume of the villa and in this way enhance it. In the south, the walls of the monolith take shape according to to the trajectory of the trees and defines the common spaces on the ground floor and the living spaces of the groups of children on the first floor.

别墅已全部翻新和内部改造,以容纳0至2岁的儿童。阳台和入口处被移走,带回了19世纪别墅的原始体积。内部和外部干预是根据建设计划和技术及活力要求进行的。
The villa has been entirely renovated and the interior transformed in order to accomodate children from 0 to 2 years. The veranda and an entrance has been removed to bring back the original volumetry of the villa from the 19th century. The interior and external interventions have been carried out according to the building program and to technical and energetic requirements.
