Text description provided by the architects. Located 200 km south of Santiago de Chile between the Andes and the Cordillera de la Costa, in the valley of Millahue, is Vik, 1600 hectares of breathtaking landscapes, dedicated to the creation of the fascinating world of wine.

The building sits at the top of a mountain in a strategic location in the valley, seeking 360 degrees of the wonderful views of ViK, highlighting the mountains, the valley, the vineyards and the lake.

该项目的概念发展一方面涉及研究一种完全玻璃化的纯形式，尽量减少干扰，以获得最大的视野，栖息在一个混凝土基座上，使我们从俯瞰山谷的顶部略微抬起，另一方面是一个钛屋顶，其设计具有独特性，重新解释了该地方的意义(Millahue意为“马普切黄金之地”)，试图模仿变化无常的轮廓和山区的环境形式。

The conceptual development of the project involves on one hand the study of a fully glazed pure form, with minimal interruptions, for maximum views, perched on a concrete base, which raises us slightly from the top overlooking the valley, and on the other a titanium roof with the uniqueness of its design, reinterpreting the meaning of the place (Millahue meaning place of gold in Mapuche), trying to emulate the capricious profiles and mountainous forms of the environment.

On the north and south facades there are guest room with the necessary privacy and the best views of the mountains and the vineyards, while on the east and west facades are the common spaces, such as entrances, living rooms, galleries, library, dining room and reception, thereby enabling a view of the landscape with a full view of transparencies without interruption throughout the building.
