The new parts of the gallery are dark-rendered and jut slightly forward towards the street; inside, floor to ceiling windows offer carefully framed views over London's urban landscape

经过近两年的紧张的建筑工作，摄影师的画廊准备庆祝其新装修和扩展总部在十字路口的SoHo区和牛津街在伦敦。

现有的砖和钢框架仓库，通过宁静的拉米斯街，从牛津街的几步，是由获奖的爱尔兰建筑师奥唐奈图梅尼重新设计。建筑师们把它向上和横向延伸，为现在伦敦最大的致力于摄影的画廊创造出非常需要的、高质量和通风的展区。扩建还有助于以更有效的方式支持建筑物的负荷。

新的部分是可见的，暗的渲染和突出略向前向街道。在建筑物的顶部，三层干净、最小、天花板高的画廊构成了一个理想的展览空间。在这下面是一个办公室和一个大型的教育和活动室(其中将包括一个摄像机暗箱)。地下有一家咖啡厅，而一张一层楼的厚厚的剪裁就能进入书店和地下室的印刷品销售区。

木材的细节-比如未经处理的硬木表面元素和橡木地板-都是精心放置的，还有一系列能带来充足光线的大开口。这些洞口跨越地板到天花板，并提供精心设计的景观，对周围的城市景观。相比之下，除了那几个像潜望镜一样的开口，画廊的房间没有窗户，允许最好的气候控制的展览展厅。

与此同时，正在制定计划，在街道上进行展览，并接管附近大楼的后墙，并为一项户外活动委托进行新的工作。画廊也希望在不久的将来能把街道设为行人专用区。导演布雷特·罗杰斯(Brett Rogers)说，整个氛围都会改变。
