麦卡锡的另一部作品“气球狗”在纽约兰德尔岛的弗里泽雕塑公园引起了人们的注意。这个巨大的雕塑是一个真正动人的气球，而不是人们所期望的摄影雕塑。这种不受限制的规模和流行文化基调是麦卡锡主义(保罗)的最佳表现，也是下个月“WS”大揭露的伟大前兆。
