Schemata Architects have designed a new collection of classroom furniture for Tokyo renovation school, Renova Ring

成立于2013的一组建筑师专门从事建筑革新，东京的RANOVA环是一所致力于改善整个日本公共空间的学校。它的总部-工作室Reova环——位于东京上野区的一所旧的初中学校建筑中，学校专注于以社区为基础的城市规划项目，并教育其学生进行城市更新的艺术。

今年，“图式建筑师”受命在东京总部布置学校的工作室。“他们要求我们设计他们的旗舰工作室，希望能得到更广泛的认可，”模式建筑的创始人乔·长坂(Jo Nangaka)说。他受到现有校舍的启发，开始设计他对传统教室家具的看法。

“我们设计的家具有一个独特的轮廓，提醒了一个‘教室’家具，”那嘎萨卡解释说，他在东京的制造商NooIoto WorksWork公司工作，以实现这件作品。集合包括基本的办公桌和匹配的凳子，它们可以堆叠在另一个上面，以创建回忆，用于在许多公司的项目中使用的开放式框架。

当然，这并不是这家日本公司第一次涉足产品设计，此前的项目包括一系列为英国制造商建立的木料和树脂制品。

With legs made from Japanese ash supported by white I-shaped steel frames and tops, the utilitarian collection comprises basic desks and matching stools

The pieces can be stacked one on top of the other to create compositions that recall the open frameworks used across many of the Japanese firm's projects

'We designed furniture with a distinct silhouette that reminds one of 'classroom' furniture,' explains Naga, who worked with Tokyo-based manufacturers Neufurniture Works to realise the pieces

Schemata Architects have previously produced a range of resin and wood furniture for Established & Sons as well as an outdoor chair, made in collaboration with Hancock for Wallpaper's very own Handmade* Exhibition in 2014
