作为今年新兴设计师平台的一部分，展出的主要产品包括袁良的“水涟漪”系列低和高的凳子和由回收报纸制成的桌子(他认为这是为了应对中国城市生活的环境恶化而制作的)；北京的殷盛的雕塑桌、座椅和架子都是用胡桃和植物晒黑的皮革制成的；马里奥蔡英文的“篮子桌”，其中的轻量级金属框架，使他们很容易提起和移动。

乌尔温认为，随着中国创意工作室、设计公司和建筑实践的指数增长(最后一次统计超过1，000万)，设计是一种新兴的、不断增长的趋势，注定要成为一件大事。他说，八年前我来到中国时，我为一个时尚品牌工作，一切都是关于新季节的包和鞋。当时艺术真的占领了中国，每个人都对艺术很着迷。现在是设计界发光的时候了。有一个来自中国的新的设计运动，它真的很令人兴奋。
