惠特尼博物馆馆长、杰夫·昆斯的共同策展人斯科特·罗斯科普夫(Scott Rothkopf)说,他记得一张“尴尬”的照片,照片上他穿着短裤和凉鞋,多年前在毕尔巴鄂海滨拍摄了昆斯(Koons)在毕尔巴鄂海滨的巨型花犬。还有谁,在夏季城市休息的时候,被拍到在小狗、气球狗或大力水手旁边做爵士手呢?

60岁时,昆斯重新开始工作,研究大理石和花岗岩中的新的、有表现力的形式。他还没做好回顾性的或者没有的。我和罗斯科普夫在一起,他说,“我期待着续集。”
