路易威登(Louis Vuitton)在中国的最新业务-巴黎路易威登基金会(Fonation Louis Vuitton)推出的一系列文化“前哨”-本周在北京开幕，展示了弗兰克·盖里(Frank Gehry)作品创作的奇特复杂性。

颇具讽刺意味的是，这次展览是在中国世界购物中心西翼(由彼得·马里诺设计的路易威登·梅森之家)的一个低调、白色的附件中展示的，它为这位85岁的建筑师的商标设计过程提供了一个耐人寻味的视角。

这次展览是作为路易威登“墙外”活动计划的一部分而设计的，展出了一套完整的免费草图和建筑模型，展示了各种基金会的设计元素-最值得注意的是，设计团队是如何逐步改造一组“体积块”，以确定大楼的核心空间、彼此之间的关系以及建筑内部的流通。

盖里的设计伙伴大卫·南解释说，从早期阶段就开始理解编程。“在探索词汇或外观之前，建立核心功能并创建建筑的基本形式。”

此外，展览还强调了对导致盖里开发基金会展示外观的材料的调查，包括构成其独特的、支离破碎的外观的曲线型玻璃面板。

显示施工过程的经过时间的视频和在巴黎的JardinD“驯化”中的独特位置的空中画面是不同的亮点。

展览的共同策展人弗雷德里克·米加鲁(Frédéric Migayrou)说，展览的空间变暗，灯光柔和的模特“漂浮”在黑色的脚台上，或者悬挂在天花板上，故意创造出一种类似水族馆的体验。他说，作品看上去像是一群鱼，甚至是一条漂浮的鲸鱼。“这并不是说建筑物本身，而是让身体通过它，在它的内部。”它让游客沉浸在弗兰克·盖里的脑海中。“穿着定制的黑色裤子和脆白衬衫的领宾们接受了盖里建筑理论的强化培训，以便为游客提供更多的细节。”

这次展览将于2015年10月15日在东京的路易威登市举行。
