Pierre Hardy for Frederic Malle Collaboration comes naturally to Frederic Malle and this month sees him teaming up with accessory maestro Pierre Hardy on a bespoke project. Inspired by Hardy's trademark ability to combine luxury and geometric rigor, Malle asked him to redesign the Editions de Malle portable fragrance atomiser. The result is a limited edition run of 1500 metal cylinders, hand-sprayed in high-gloss black, white, and bright-coloured paints, ready for the taking. Since creating his signature technique with his sister, which follows the natural fall and structure of the client’s hair, Ferretti’s has garnered fans the world over. Adding to a network of 20-strong luxury salons, as far flung as Mumbai to the Maldives, the hair guru recently opened his first London outpost in the heart of Mayfair occupying a three-storey townhouse that was previously the headquarters of Fabregé.
