Blind Barber products With outposts in New York and Los Angeles, the Blind Barber barbershop has become a stateside favourite since it opened in 2010. It authentically embraces an approach to grooming inspired by the roaring twenties - a cocktail is served with every cut. It seemed only apt that their inaugural line of products would take a similar direction. Unveiled in April, the lightly boozy collection includes a shaving cream and moisturising aftershave both based around the juniper berry, a key ingredient in gin and an efficacious astringent, while the styling wax and hair pomade make the most out of the natural thickening agents contained in hops to control locks and regulate the scalp. From $22; www.blindbarber.com Writers: Pei-Ru Keh and Rosa Bertoli
Clark's Botanicals Cellular Lifting Serum We first fell for Francesco Clark's line of botanical skincare back in 2008, awarding it the highest accolade of Best Skincare at the Wallpaper* Design Awards that year. Committed to developing hard-hitting botanical skincare, the scientific line's latest offering is the impressive Cellular Lifting Serum, which harnesses the power of stem cells from the Uttwiler Spatlauber apple. A Swiss variety rich in phytonutrients, proteins and long life cells, it is the first plant derived stem cell active on the market. The innovative formula is proven to improve skin's firmness and hydration, and to give the skin an overall glow, with long-lasting results that are visible from the first application. £284; www.spacenk.com
