Chim Pom's newest work, It’s the wall world, is directly inspired by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami

According to Chim↑Pom co-founder Masataka Okada, the work's constituent 'jigsaw' pieces can also be taken to mean the word ‘peace'  

The collection will be exhibited as a gigantic mural at The Saatchi Gallery in London as part of Chim↑Pom’s solo show this September

The project was initiated at the Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh, where the artists carved out a piece from the wall of a garment factory
