从大陆乘传统木船抵达时，客人们首先从棕榈树和闪烁的火把中领到装满枕头的贝都因人帐篷，里面有胡卡管。不可避免的对空调的搜索很快就把他们带到了主展馆，里面和外面装饰着传统的Mashrabiya雕刻的木制面板，仔细检查后，它们恰当地蚀刻出了该品牌标志性的双C标识。雄伟风格的休息室为客人提供了舒适的弹性坐垫或下陷的座椅，因为悬挂的灯笼灯从上面照亮了他们。

在沙龙风格的T型台上，这次旅行也是一个类似的当代事件，展示了拉格菲尔德对现代城市和香奈儿的全球游牧民族的憧憬，而不是一堂民俗历史课。他保持了轻松的心情-通过轻快的捏造和拉格菲尔德的一点机智(2014年A/W的连锁购物篮变成了克鲁斯的棉质运动衫)，因为该剧的大名鼎鼎的模特们都戴着新月冠。

Chanel transported running water, electricity, and even palm trees onto the reclaimed plot of sand. The result was part engineering feat, part show spectacular. Proportionally speaking, the collection was dominated by all matter of tunic tops, blousing harem pants and 12th century tile prints that were woven into transparent trousers

European designer trunk shows are common practice in the Middle East, however they are usually presented behind closed doors, so this show presented a very different message to the Sheiks and Sheikas who filled Chanel's temporary residence
